Q&A: May 2nd, 2019

CyberTitan | 01 October 2019

Q: Do we have access to the entire internet?

A: Yes but I believe we are filtering Malicious sites and controversial content sites. If there is a mistake on category submit a ticket and we can review the URL categorisation.

--

Q: Are tools that gather and send logs to a centralized location for processing (i.e. elastic search) allowed?

A: Yes this would be fine, however please keep in mind these tools/products can’t be a paid for solution or a trial of a paid for solution.

Additional Travel Costs

  • For additional STUDENTS the cost would be $254 plus flights and HST
  • For additional ADULTS the cost would be $306 plus flights and HST

Sandra Saric, ICTC | 01 October 2019

Dear CyberTitan National Finalist Teams,

Congratulations! From a field of over 180 Canadian teams, only a few remain among the elite field competing for National Championships. And yours has succeeded!

You have worked hard, your team has shown determination, and you have shown that you have what it takes to win in one of the most technically challenging youth events in the world. But so has the other ten teams and now the road to a National Championship reaches its most difficult section.

This page will keep you up-to-date with all the information and instructions you need to understand regarding your visit to Ottawa, ON. I encourage you to read this as a team and with your parents to ensure every member of your team has a complete understanding of what you can expect and what will be expected of you during your visit and on the competition floor.

You need to understand all of it, so please read it carefully.

We have done everything we can to provide clear guidance and to ensure a fair competition. If anything is unclear, please let us know immediately. Contact the CyberTitan team via email: CyberTitan@ictc-ctic.ca with any concerns or requests for clarification.

I look forward to greeting you personally on May 14th, 2019. Best of luck!

Sincerely,
